The Powerblanket 55 gallon Drum Heater is an innovative heating blanket that takes the hassle out of warming up your drums or barrels. The built-in thermostat or optional thermostatic controller (sold separately) ensures a constant temperature, so you will avoid burning or over heating your drums.
The thermostat reduces the risk of overshoot and is safe to use on most metal and plastic containers. Each barrel-blanket heater has a 6 male and female cord, permitting up to 4 blankets to be plugged together on a single 120V, 20A outlet.
Available in various sizes: 55, 30, 15 and 5 gallon sizes. The 55 gallon sizes use 120V, 400W and 3.33A but if temperature exceeds 110F (43C), then it uses 120V, 548W and 4.5A. The 30 gallon size uses120V, 400W and 3.33A. The 15 gallon size uses 120V, 280W and 2.33A. The 5 size gallon uses 120V, 160W and 1.33A.

The Thermostatic Controller is to be used on most powerblanket products, allowing you easier control of temperature. This controller will ensure that the temperature is constant and at a safe level, while preventing overshoot or burning / over heating of the material.
