Universal anvil lopper for clearing out old and tough wood from trees and shrubs in the garden. Xylan coated blade for rust protection and less friction.

The anvil lopper is designed for cutting old, hard and dead wood. The anvil supports a broad area of the branch while the sharp and narrow blade is forced through the woood with only a minimum amount of slicing motion.
Even with an anvil lopper, cutting through dead wood takes significant force. For larger branch diameters and especially for professional gardeners, who may make thousands of pruning cuts in one day. Bahco has also developed leverage-assisted anvil loppers which require 30% less effort to provide the same cutting effect.
