For most of Rittenhouses long history, we have manufactured Tree Sprayers. We have always built and designed our sprayers to the highest quality possible, keeping in mind simplicity and durability. The Rittenhouse 500 Gallon Skid Mount Tree Sprayer reflects our core principals of design and function. This Tree Sprayer incorporates the best components, design and the most requested features into one, 'easy to use and maintain' IPMTree Sprayer.
The 'heart'of the Rittenhouse 500 Gallon Tree Sprayer is our direct drivepump and motor assembly. The pump is a Hypro D1265, which isa proven and well balanced5 diaphragm pump that easily produces33 GPM and up to 725 PSI. The 20hp Honda engine (ours tests show a higher horsepower), with electric start,features a huge 30 amp charging system, keeping the deep cycle battery fully charged to operate the 12 volt powered hose reels andthe high flow Hypro pump for the wash station. The exhaust is extremely quiet, and aextra large 12Gallon fuel tank is conveniently mounted to the passenger side. The fuel tank is convenient to fill both the towing vehicle and thesprayer at the same time.
The balanced combination of theHonda engine and direct gearbox driven pump runs extremely smooth with virtually no vibration.The two cylinder engine and a5 diaphragm pump together eliminate the excessive vibration that causes fittings to leakin many machines.
Features:
A large500 Gallon, low profile tank for mixing or clean water storage: This large tank is perfect for large applications or transferring clean waterinto the 50 Gallon tank for small batch mixing. This gives the operator the option and makes for more efficient use of expensive chemicals.
Two separate hose reels: one 12 volt powered Hannay large capacity hose reel with 300' of 3/4" 800 PSI hose for high height (average height of 70 to 80 feet) tree spraying, the second hose reel is a standard 12 volt powered Hannay hose reel with 300' of 1/2" 600 PSI hose for small shade tree spraying (up to 40')as well asroot feeding. By having a second reel, two applicators can work simultaneously,another innovation in efficiency.
15 Gallon Top Tank: Thisis for clean water only. The 12-volt high flow Hypro pump offer the operator a wash station (tree spraying can be adirty job). This is alsoan easy method for rinsing tanks and equipment.
