Seed Slotter

The Rotary Hand Slotter unit will not tear up the surface and the correct depth is obtained by the rotary stops at each end of the slotter reels. A flat bottomed slot at the the end of each rotary slot reel creates a slit at an optimum depth of 1/2 inch. This allows light play on the surface and the penetration of seed and water into the slots speeds germination of the turfgrass seeds. The Rotary Hand Slotter is great for spot repairs. There is no need to close down play on your golf course, soccer field, lawn bowling green, or bocce playing surface.

The Rotary Hand Spiker will aerate the turfgrass area to be repaired and will allow you to over seed the weak turfgrass areas. Unit weight is 12.5 lbs.

The Static Spiker / Tamper units are also used for turf aeration. Static Spiker / Tamper unit COMES WITH ONLY 25 SPIKES BUT IT HAS HOLES FOR UP TO 40 SPIKES. The picture above shows the Static Spiker / Tamper with all forty spikes installed. The spikes are sold separately. The Static Spiker / Tamper unit will allow the penetration of air and water and aleviate surface compaction. The Static Spiker and Static Slotter units can also double as 'tampers' when their heads have been removed. Unit weight is 7.4 lbs.

The Static Seed Slotter / Tamper units are used to repair small weak turfgrass playing surfaces. The short 1/2 inch slots will allow the seed and water to penetrate the compacted poor playing surface. This will speed seed germination and the playing surface will recover quicker. The Static Seed Slotter / Tamper can also double as 'tamper' when the head have been removed. Unit weight is 7.4 lbs.

All of these tools are used for overseeding worn and compacted areas on all fine turf surfaces.
