May Flowers Are Here!

It was a long time coming between all the rain and the really cold spells, the flowers are finally here. After a very confusing April, I think planting season has arrived and lawn care is a priority. The fever for yard work has exploded---everywhere people are cutting their lawns, trimming hedges, and planting beautiful flowers---Here are some inspiring articles:

Alan Ilagan
'The Battle of a Gardener'
There is no such thing as a “timid gardener”. A greater oxymoron has never been uttered, for timidity has no home in the gardening world. Ours is a world of ruthless lack of compassion, a place of daily holocaust and ritual destruction.

 Bruce Zimmerman
The Perfect Lawn
To obtain or maintain the perfect lawn you need to read this article for the procedures that are offered for your consideration. First analysis your lawn's problems.  Then select the curative steps from the list contained in this article.

White Grubs
In parts of Ontario, there are three species of white grubs that infect lawns-European chafer, June beetle and Japanese beetle. The most common species is the European chafer, which has come from Europe and has invaded much of the southern portion of the province. Read about these pests and what you can do about them in this article.

Plus much, much more! (Pictures coming soon!)

Duffer May  Article
DUFFER.....what's become of school?

If there’s anything my kid doesn’t know about drama, she can watch me and her mom fight. And when it comes to leadership, I don’t want my kid to be a leader. Leaders usually cause nothing but trouble.
