This is a special edition of the
Hort-Pro.
Wes Porter has written a "Preview"
for the upcoming Symphony of Gardens, the 2003 version of Canada Blooms held in
Toronto, Canada the second week of March.
According
to the Co-Chair Gerald Boot :"Canada Blooms promotes
the horticultural industry and provides the public with an opportunity to see
firsthand the newest trends, plant varieties and leading edge design,” and “Garden enthusiasts and flower lovers will not want to miss this
year’s show.”
Wes highlights the beautifully orchestrated
gardens, arranged over six acres, including unique balcony/rooftop gardens, a
4,200 square-foot garden retreat, wondrous green lawns and many more inspiring
designs.
Wes' City Gardening
following the "Preview", is a 'must read' for spring preparations,
events, and happenings. Hostas for 2003 and Perennials of the Year are reviewed
and countless websites are mentioned his writing.
Hope to see you at
Blooms!
