Welcome to Hort-Pro

October 2000

Here in Canada it's Thanksgiving weekend.  Happy Thanksgiving to all, including our American friends who have to wait another month for Turkey Time.

Fall is truly here and it's time for all that wonderful end of season yard work to commence.  First let's have a nice cup of something and read what our garden gurus have written for us this month.

The Physiotherapy Article this month is Ergonomic Tricks and Tools.  Judy gives us some advice on how to make our tools more body-friendly.

Wes Porter has some other advice, information and news tidbits for us in his monthly newsletter City Gardening.  October's edition is entitled Clean Up Time in the Garden.

Bruce Zimmerman has some invaluable advice on Spring Bulbs And Some Others  for us this month.

John Morley gives us a detailed overview of urban forestry.  John explains the necessity of Implementing a Street Tree Inventory in various communities and outlines the actual process for us.
